Question 1. What is Clientsearch?

Answer: Clientsearch is a new and unique referral service offered to all Australian Legal Practitioners. Clientsearch gives you, the Legal Practitioner, the opportunity to search for clients you want, when you want them. Our service is the only one of its kind as it gives you the ability to pick and choose your own clients based on the information contained in our Clientsearch Directory. Our service is available 24 Hours, 7 days per week.

With Clientsearch you choose the client, unlike other referral services where the client chooses you.

Question 2. Why use Clientsearch.com.au?

Answer: If you want more profitable clients without having to go through all the hassles and stress of implementing and maintaining an expensive marketing program that ultimately wastes your money and time with unwanted phone calls and unwanted messages, then Clientsearch is for you.

At Clientsearch.com.au we have already done the marketing and advertising for you. We have the right clients for your legal practice. Our client database contains a plentiful flow of numerous referrals in all areas of the law and in all regions.

You make an informed decision before deciding to contact the client to take on their legal matter. You can choose as many client referrals as you like.

Clientsearch puts you in total control of the referral process, your contact details are not released to the client, whereas other referral services release your name and contact details to a prospective client. You then have to spend precious professional time on the phone, listening to the prospective client while deciding whether to take on the matter. At Clientsearch, you do not have to worry about this.

Clientsearch allows you to research and assess your prospective client's situation before contacting the client to discuss their matter. This will save you considerable professional time as it cuts out much of the initial time spent in communicating with the client in order to ascertain their legal needs and the nature of their legal matter.

Clientsearch gives you the flexibility of following up a referral you have chosen and contacting the client when you are ready to do so. This helps to avoid the constant disruption of your daily work schedule commonly caused by prospective clients phoning you to discuss their situation.

Question 3. How does Clientsearch Work?

Answer: Clientsearch is an online referral service unlike any other, currently offered to all qualified Australian Legal Practitioners. Put simply, our unique service gives you the ability to pick and choose referrals from our Clientsearch Directory. You then contact the client when you are ready.

Our Clientsearch Directory contains countless referrals generated from an ongoing extensive national marketing program that utilises effective advertising campaigns through a variety of direct and indirect advertising mediums targeting individuals and businesses seeking legal services.

All referrals in our Clientsearch Directory, contain first hand information supplied by the client in relation to their legal matter. We do not interfere with the information supplied by the client. New referrals, for you to choose from, are added to our Clientsearch Directory throughout the day, 24 Hours and 7 days per week.

All Registered Users of Clientsearch are given secure login access to the Clientsearch Directory where they can search for new clients based on area of law and/or locality. Search results are displayed as a list which can be sorted and perused before selecting the desired referral(s). You can select any number of referrals depending on the Package(s) purchased by you. Once a referral is selected for purchase by you, a Clientsearch Referral Form, containing the details of the legal matter and the client's contact information is downloaded onto your computer where you can print and save the Clientsearch Referral Form. Your Package Balance is automatically updated. The referral is then removed from the Clientsearch Directory and is no longer displayed to other Registered Users. You own the referral. How you decide to handle the referral is entirely up to you.

We do not get involved with the retainer between you and your clients obtained through referrals chosen by you.

Question 4. How do I join Clientsearch?

Answer: To become a Registered User of Clientsearch you must be a current practising Australian Legal Practitioner and you must complete the Lawyer Registration Form.

Once your Lawyer Registration Form is lodged and processed, confirmation of your login username and password will be sent to your nominated email address. You can then login and commence searching our Clientsearch Database for matters that take your interest.

Question 5. What are the costs in joining and using Clientsearch?

Answer: There is currently no cost to join Clientsearch.

To begin receiving Clientsearch Referral Forms, you must purchase one of the following Clientsearch Packages:

Please Note the following:

• You can buy any number of Clientsearch Packages at any one time. Your Clientsearch Package is activated upon receipt of your payment. (See Question 7, below, for methods of payment).
• Once you have used all referrals in your Clientsearch Package, you can simply buy another Clientsearch Package of your choice.
• You can view your current account details whenever you login. Your current account details will show you the following information:
  (a) Your Clientsearch Package Name;
  (b) Your Package Balance; and
  (c) Your Package Expiration Date;

Question 6. Which Package should I buy?

Answer: All Clientsearch Packages are suitable to all legal practices, no matter how large or small. It simply depends on how many new clients you want to gain for your legal practice. A higher package increases the likelihood of gaining more clients - while also significantly reducing the average cost per referral.

Question 7. What methods of payment are accepted?

Answer: You can use any one of the following methods of payment when purchasing a Clientsearch Package:

• Credit Card - We accept all credit cards including, American Express, Mastercard, VISA and Diners Club. Pay online via our fast and secure server. Paying online is quick, easy and secure. Further, no merchant fee is charged when using your credit card through Clientsearch.
  
• Direct Deposit or Telegraphic Transfer - Our account details are below. Please be advised that payment must be received by us within five (5) working days of your order, otherwise your order will be cancelled. To make a direct deposit using an Australian bank account, you can use the third-party-transfer facility in your online banking to send money to our account. Alternatively, you can visit your nearest Westpac branch and make a deposit over the counter.

  Please be advised that we are unable to take responsibility for payments that do not reach us, therefore we strongly suggest that you use Express Post, Registered Post or some other secure form of postage. Cheques may take a minimum of five (5) days to clear before we can activate your Clientsearch Package.

Question 8. Do I have to pay a referral commission?

Answer: No, you do not have to pay a referral commission on professional costs and disbursements received.

Question 9. Are there any costs charged to the client by Clientsearch?

Answer: No, there are no costs charged to the client by Clientsearch and we do not govern the relationship between you and the client.

Question 10. Am I guaranteed to get new clients every time I use the service?

Answer: No. Although, we cannot guarantee that every referral will produce a genuine client, we expect that our unique service will provide your legal practice with an unparalleled opportunity to expand your preferred client base, attract new clients and increase the profit and goodwill of your legal practice. Due to the nature of referrals we are unable to give a refund on referrals which do not produce a genuine client.

Question 11. Are prospective clients aware that their legal matter has been referred for a fee?

Answer: Yes. When a prospective client submits his/her legal enquiry, they agree and acknowledge that they will be referred to a legal practitioner and that a fee will be charged for the referral.

Answer: Put simply, Clientsearch is the only one of its kind offering a service unlike any other referral service by giving you the opportunity to search for clients you want, when you want them.

At Clientsearch we understand the value and importance of your professional time. Our service ensures you have total control over the referral process and gives you the ability to contact the client, at a time that suites you. We acknowledge the time wasted by practitioners in having to confer with prospective clients; often resulting in the giving of legal advice for no reward.
